Dog Walking
A great dog walk is located on the lakeshore next to the Nelson Airport.
There are off leash trails and swimming areas. The parking at the Prestige Inn is a paid parking lot. The only people not on “Kootenay Time” around here are the city parking enforcement officers. Free parking is available on the south side of the airstrip.
2 other beautiful off leash dog-beaches are within 15 minutes from our motel for a longer walk.
